On its own merits Selenite is a very comforting mineral. It opens and activates the 3rd eye. Clears congested energies. Pointed at the third eye can feel like a gust of wind through the forehead and out the top of the head.  Also use it vertically over the heart then horizontally over your solar plexus to feel the different sensations.
